probably not antique

When my eldest sister passed, I went to her home with Mom to sort through her things.  She did not have much, but I found a little tin full of buttons.  I've given the buttons to Disco, but wondered about the origin of this tin.  

MSA, Mine Safety Appliances, is very much in business, still based in Pittsburgh.  I've sent them this picture and another, to see if they could date it's manufacture or distribution.   This is just for my curiousity.

No knitting today.  I'm liking the aqua wtth the light purple,  and even more so with the darker purple.
